What a $999 prescription actually looks like.
Most people selling AI to accounting firms sell a feeling. I sell a document. Here is one, redacted.
Sanjeev Chowdhry · Notes from the practice
You shouldn't have to pay $999 to find out what a document looks like. What follows is a specimen: a composite of the most common findings for a small tax and advisory firm, with the tool names blacked out the way a pharmacy never would but a competitor-conscious consultant must. Every real prescription is specific to one firm, written after 30 minutes of questions about where your week actually goes.

Not prescribed
Four tools the firm asked about by name. Two were duplicates of software they already own. One created more review work than it saved. One stored client data in a way I wouldn't accept for my own business. A prescription is also what you should not take.
Quick-start plan
Four days, one finding per day, starting with document chasing because it pays back fastest.
Total
Roughly $115/month buys back 8–10 hours a week for this specimen firm. Your numbers will differ. That's the point of a diagnosis.
Three things to notice. The tools have monthly prices, not contracts. The setup times are measured in hours and days, not quarters. And nothing arrives in your office as a “platform”: these are small, boring, specific fixes for small, boring, specific leaks.
The guarantee is the same for every firm: if the written prescription can't find you five hours a week, you don't pay the $999.
